School meals at Hollyfast are provided by our own Catering Service.  We are dedicated and passionate about serving a freshly prepared, hot school dinner to our children every day. Our catering team freshly prepare (locally sourced ingredients) and cook on site every day, to ensure that we provide a varied and well balanced menu.

There are many reasons to choose a school lunch for your child. Children use up a great deal of energy during a full school day; they need to concentrate during lessons, let off steam at break times and then recharge their energy for the afternoon. Let us prepare and cook a hot meal for your child/children, which will help them perform better throughout the afternoon.

In addition to all of these benefits, a school meal is excellent value for money and encourages healthy eating from an early age, which provides an opportunity for your child/children to sit down and enjoy their meal whilst developing social skills that will be very important later in life.

If your child/children are in Reception and Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2) they are entitled to a UNIVERSAL FREE SCHOOL MEAL.  For children in Key Stage 2 (Years 3 - 6) there is a charge of £2.15 per day, which is excellent value for money and includes a main meal,  a choice of vegetable produce, a choice of potato product and a pudding.  Freshly baked bread and a salad bar are also available daily.  We operate a pre-order system from a three week rolling menu.  (See menus below.)

If you would like your child to have school meals please complete your child's menu choices and return to the school office.  You may download menus from the website below or pick up a copy from the school office.
