Walking with the Wounded - Morrisons Visit

On Wednesday 14th October our Year 6 children were invited by a local Morrisons store to be part of a 'welcoming committee' to greet a group of injured war veterans walking a 1000 miles across Britain to raise money for the 'Walking with the Wounded' charity.

The children cheered and waved flags as the service men and women arrived, giving them a very warm welcome.  Both staff and children thoroughly enjoyed the morning and listened with interest to the war veteran's experiences during their time in service.
