We love reading at Hollyfast so we have lots of Reading Ambassadors in school to promote a love of reading.

Here are some of the activities the child leaders have led on:-

• Reading Buddies - Some of the older children have paired up with younger children to read.  This helps the younger children to build fluency, speed and comprehension.
• The Book Fair - The Reading Ambassadors have helped the adults with promoting and selling books.  Funds raised are used to purchase books for the schools.
• Planning and leader activities on World Book Day, such sa reading stories to a different class and planning the World Book Day Theme.
